brEuropean Tech Recruit are working closely with a market leading 3D scanning company, based in Bressanone, who are looking for a talented System Administrator to join their team.

brIn this role you will keep their scanning and compute infrastructure running smoothly, improve configuration standards, and gradually automate what's currently manual. You'll work closely with software and infrastructure engineers but own the day-to-day health of their Linux environment.

brResponsibilities as System Administrator :
brDebug hardware issues (storage drives, GPUs, memory, networking) and software issues (drivers, containers, internal tools).
brExtend and maintain Ansible-based configuration management.
brProvide technical support to engineering and operations teams.
brBuild repeatable deployment processes for new scanning stations.
brContribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
brMaintain networking infrastructure across internal and client-deployed environments.

brStrong Linux system administration experience (Ubuntu).
brSolid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
brUnderstanding of how application software interacts with infrastructure (GPU drivers, CUDA toolkits, container runtimes, storage mounts).
brDriving license, occasional travel to client sites required.
brFluent English.

brAnsible or other configuration management tools.
brMonitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Netdata, Datadog).
brDatacenter operations or distributed systems experience.
brTerraform, AWS solution architecture.
brGerman or Italian language skills.
