An international industrial & environmental services provider, leader in the solvent recycling industry in Europe, with a broad geographical footprint in Europe, Middle East and in the United States, it's looking for its Site Plant Director in Fidenza, Italy.
Responsible for the management and development of the Fidenza Site to achieve the financial, production, operational and S.H.E.Q. targets set for the region and its associated market area. Site Manager will develop and deliver customer service and market driven innovation whilst fostering a culture within the regional team of empowerment and accountability, with a focus on sector leading S.H.E.Q. performance.
Main responsibilities, include:
* Full responsibility over the P&L of the site, maximizing Ebitda and controlling costs.
* Overall responsibility for the management of all staff including Operations, Laboratory, Engineering, Health and Safety and administrative support (a total of 20 staff).
* Compliance with all statutory and site specific procedures/regulations.
* Work with the Regulatory entities (Arpae) to secure their acceptance and authorization of our operations.
* Developing procedures as required to ensure the business operates consistently and within legal requirements.
* Recruit, train and develop all the team on site.
* Develop and deliver customer service and market driven innovation.
* Prepare monthly reports and analyse KPI deviations.
* Set high standards for safety, service and housekeeping.
Education
* An Industrial Engineering or Chemistry degree is required.
* An MBA or a Masters in Director of Operations is preferred.
Experience
* 10 to 15 years of experience managing operations within the fine-chemical industry.
* Experience in fine-chemicals or distillation is a plus.
* Experience dealing with regulators in the region of Emilia Romagna.
* Fluent in English.
