About the Role
We're looking for a Communications Manager to join our growing New York team. This is a hands-on media relations role for someone who is building their career in PR and is ready for more ownership. Someone who knows how to craft a pitch, is developing their journalist network, and wants to work on world-class luxury and lifestyle brands in a fast-paced, international environment.
You'll work closely with senior leadership, supporting and executing media strategies across multiple client accounts. This is a fully in-office role, five days a week at our New York City office. We're a tight-knit, collaborative team and we do our best work together.
What You'll Do
Media Relations & Outreach
• Support and execute proactive media outreach on behalf of clients, developing pitches and story angles that resonate with the right journalists
• Help build and maintain the agency's relationships with journalists, editors, and producers across print, digital, broadcast, and trade media
• Draft press releases, media advisories, pitches, and talking points with accuracy and a strong editorial eye
• Assist in positioning clients as go-to sources for journalists covering their beats
Press Monitoring & Reporting
• Monitor client press mentions daily across all media channels using industry-standard tools
• Compile and deliver coverage reports with clear, organized summaries and relevant insights
• Track media trends and flag emerging storylines relevant to client narratives
Client & Team Support
• Serve as a reliable day-to-day contact for clients, managing communications with professionalism and responsiveness
• Support interview preparation, briefing documents, and media training logistics
• Collaborate with senior team members on account strategy and campaign execution
• Contribute to new business research and pitch preparation as needed
What We're Looking For
• 3–5 years of PR or communications experience, agency experience preferred
• A growing network of media contacts and genuine enthusiasm for building it further
• Strong writing skills across all PR formats: pitches, press releases, and client correspondence
• Familiarity with media monitoring platforms (Meltwater, Cision, Critical Mention, or similar)
• A keen interest in luxury, fashion, beauty, design, or lifestyle: Negri Firman's world
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines at once
• A team player who thrives in an in-person, collaborative office culture
• New York City-based and available to work in-office Monday through Friday

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $65,000 – $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
