Position Title: Junior Procurement Representative Position Summary: In this role you will be responsible for promoting a world-class purchasing team driving efficiencies through standardization, SOP compliance, and communicating best practices. You will assist our plants through the acquisition process driving the how to buy and where to buy process. You will take over responsibility for purchasing materials, goods, and services while maintaining commercial details in SAP and/or other purchasing systems. In addition, you will drive activities in order to improve procurement processes as well as automation and digitalization projects. Job Description: Responsibilities: - Execution of all procurement activities in accordance with the global procurement processes (e.g. review of purchase requisitions for correctness, correct payment terms, convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders, support in matching order confirmations, update PR/PO if needed) - Act as a technical expert for procurement processes - Establish and maintain professional relationships with internal customers to ensure that their procurement requirements are met - Responsibility for purchasing and acquisition cycle activities for the EMEA region - Implement Procurement digitization/automation activities (e.g. e-RFQ / e-auctions) - Catalogue creation within SAP Ariba to increase spend compliance and reduce rogue spending. Partner with functional users to drive adoption. - Supports the rest of the procurement team in Europe - Extensive communications with suppliers - Supports purchase activities related to materials and products, assessment of possible suppliers, negotiation of terms & conditions - Is expected a procedural autonomy in performing duties, non decision-making - Collaborate with sustainability team to identify and create procurement team specific Sustainability goals Your qualification Basic qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in an economical field, engineering management or similar degree - Affinity and understanding for process automation and digitalization - Positive attitude, highly motivated and energetic - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Ability to work under high pressure and in a time-sensitive environment and to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders - Very good MS Office skills - Strong analytical and PC skills - Fluent in Italian and English Preferred qualifications: - First working experience in procurement - Experience in digital procurement with knowledge in systems like SAP Ariba, Tableau, e-Auctions, digital RFI/RFQ´s - German language skills Additional Details: - LI-JR1. - Momentive crede che una forza lavoro diversificata arrichisca il proprio personale, dia vigore alla propria attività di business e contribuisca ad un mondo sostenibile.
