<p><strong>Ruby on Rails Developer | Permanent & Freelance | Padua, Italy (On-Site)</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Were partnering with a market-leading Italian tech company at the intersection of physical collectibles, digital marketplaces, and AI, looking to grow their engineering team with <strong>2–3 developers</strong> across both permanent and freelance engagements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Work</strong></p><p>Youll be building and evolving a suite of platforms serving collectors, operators, and commercial partners, alongside active R&D in computer vision and AI-assisted image recognition. Real ownership, no ticket factories.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Stack:</strong> Ruby on Rails (core), Python/FastAPI/PyTorch, Web Components, React Native, PostgreSQL, OpenCV, YOLO, NVIDIA DGX hardware for ML workloads. LLMs and AI coding tools are part of daily workflow, not an afterthought.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Youll Bring</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of continuous development experience (strong juniors considered)</li><li>Clean, well-structured code and genuine pride in the craft</li><li>Comfort moving across the stack, UI is not someone elses problem here</li><li>Solid OOP, SQL, and relational database fundamentals</li><li>Confident, effective use of LLMs as a peer programming tool</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Details</strong></p><p>Opportunities are available on both a <strong>permanent</strong> and <strong>freelance/contract</strong> basis, with packages discussed on a case by case basis depending on experience and engagement type.
