Qualifications

* Degree in Mechanics and Mechatronics Engineering, Transport Engineering or a related field.
* At least 3‑4 years of professional experience.
* Strong knowledge of the automotive engineering sector and technical background in powertrain management systems (Internal Combustion Engines and Electric Machines).
* Experience with powertrain calibrations—petrol, diesel, hybrids or electric.
* Software knowledge of the V Cycle development methodology.
* Embedded software design experience.
* Familiarity with IATF standard 16949:2016.
* Understanding of system‑specific control for internal combustion engines, electric, and electronic circuit architecture analysis.
* Experience in writing requirements, decomposing them, and allocating them to impacted systems.
* Knowledge of REMS, AEMS and AT engine control software.
* Knowledge of car communication protocols and Vector tools.
* Proficiency with automotive software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, DDT2000, OneVal, CANalyzer, ASTRAL, CONCERTO, CRETA, INCA, MDA, SBM, Totem, etc.
* Experience with V3P3/4 engine development logic by HORSE.
* English language proficiency (French language knowledge is a plus).
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.


Responsibilities

* Manage MAP and application services, ensuring convergence of the calibration system with project milestones and compliance with MAP standards and QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery).
* Represent the activity manager in meetings with the project team and vehicle team to define calibration deliveries to stakeholders, incident reports, VDC, homologation and factories.
* Collaborate with SPL (Software Project Leaders), RAC (Responsable Assemblage Calibration) and PSV (Pilote Système Validation) teams to keep the calibration system schedule current.
* Cross‑reference specifications for services, emissions, OBD, reliability and braking from partner trades and share them with MAP teams.
* Organize and conduct MAP work and validation missions to ensure service convergence and specification compliance.
* Control development costs (FTE/bench hours/driving km) and mission costs established with the ASMd at project start.
* Lead the project kick‑off for MAP & application teams.
* Deliver a checklist and a business quality commitment for each project milestone, prepared two weeks before each milestone date.
* Ensure completion of deliverables indicated in the MAP PFE CL (ToH, DE TR transparency file, RDE monitoring, IUPR letter, GSP file, etc.).
* Maintain minutes of Development Progress Meetings and verify the schedule of calibration deliverables or test reports for other departments (Reliability, Homologation, Braking, Performance, PIE, and Plant).
* Ensure calibration meets project needs (e.g., PIE, DEAMU, MADC calibrations for vehicle prototyping: PFC batch and VC calibration).
* Draft STCCM plans for the plant, MAP information sheets, and advance progress reports for DE TR.
* Document NRL, GRP, and AES/BES files with the ASM.
* Track the list of test sheets and performance summary files for project milestones and convergence.
* Document the DDMRS—Demonstration file of security risk management—with its impact on the MAP scope.
* Build control strategies with the engine development/tuning teams to meet client requests and optimize powertrain performance.
* Manage testing and validation for the owned system—including calibration, validation process, test programs, and documentation of related reports.
* Oversee testing during the calibration and validation process (stationary engine bench, roller benches, client premises, tracks, testing facilities, vehicle testing).
* Conduct professional trips with test vehicles in different locations under various climatic conditions to validate operating strategies.
* Represent the project team and system team for the owned perimeter.
* Maintain and update the system schedule, provide milestone synthesis and notify the project team of blocking points at each milestone.
