About the position We have an excellent opportunity available for a Site Controller at Kraft Heinz. The Site Controller is part of the EPDM Western Europe Operations BU. You will work in a dedicated team, collaborating with peers to achieve continuous improvement. You will report to our Operations Finance Lead – Central Finance EPDM and will gain exposure to senior internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Managing $140MM of COGS and logistics inbound costs; leading budget and monthly forecasts for Site Operational Costs. Handling product costing for approximately 800 SKUs across the BU portfolio. Conducting profitability analysis on new development products. Leading Zero-Based Budgeting initiatives. Collaborating with Commercial Teams. Performing variance analysis on ingredients, packaging materials, plant conversion costs, and write-offs. Ensuring accurate purchasing cost variances for the site and co-packed goods. Acting as Sox coordinator and key control owner for the plant. Controlling inventory activities related to raw materials, packaging, work-in-progress, finished goods, and MRO. Managing Capex, inventory, and capitalization processes. Providing timely and relevant financial reports. Responsibilities & accountabilities: Implementing and improving local finance processes. Rolling out new policies and procedures from corporate. Recommending and implementing process improvements for efficiency. Leading accounting matters, including audits and ad-hoc projects. Reviewing internal controls and enhancing process controls and segregation of duties. Analyzing large data sets, identifying tools and methodologies, and presenting findings to management. Coordinating with FP&A on forecasting methodologies. Overseeing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. Ensuring timely consolidation and understanding of information from various functions. Ensuring financial statement accuracy and control framework integrity. Working with site management to meet reporting needs. Continuously improving reporting processes. Participating in cross-functional teams for process improvements. Qualifications Hard Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS 400 BPCS. Fluency in English. Proven capital management experience. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in accounting, controllership, FP&A, or related finance roles. Professional Attributes: Confidence and assertiveness in communication.
