Procurement Specialist / Buyer

Our site in Carugate is a competence center for semisolids, these include creams and gels.
Your key responsibilities
- Request and negotiate supplier quotations to secure optimal commercial and delivery conditions
- Create and issue purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accurate pricing and confirmed delivery dates
- Support management in resolving supply-related issues and ensuring material availability
- Identify opportunities for new components or suppliers and propose corresponding implementation projects
- Collaborate with global procurement teams on cost-saving initiatives and aligned solutions for supply challenges
- Manage supplier and component master data with high accuracy and compliance
- Perform data analytics on spend by supplier, purchase type, and department to support strategic decision-making
Your profile
- Degree in Economics or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience (pharmaceutical industry is a plus)
- Strong analytical abilities with solid Excel and reporting knowledge
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems; SAP is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong time management, organization, and ability to work under pressure
- Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with strong teamwork skills
- Good English and Italian skills, both written and spoken
