Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Baker Tournant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the bakery shop and production of high-quality bread products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure efficient daily operation and control of the bakery shop, adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Produce high-quality bread products that meet customer expectations.
* Assist in preparing production forecasts and monitoring inventory to minimize waste.
* Coordinate the setup of the bread display in buffets and ensure compliance with USPH regulations.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Executive Chef's schedule.
* Prepare for and pass inspections by ship's management or USPH inspectors.
* Requisition necessary items from main stores to the bakery shop.
* Monitor recipes and yields to ensure they meet company standards.
* Assist with daily consumption recap and provide information to guests and crew members as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* A minimum of three years' experience as a Baker in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service.
* Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of equipment.
* Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
