As a Fraud Investigator at ING Italy, you will conduct end-to-end fraud investigations, analyzing digital traces and collaborating with law enforcement and legal teams. You’ll identify, diagnose and respond to fraud incidents, documenting findings and implementing mitigations to prevent losses and recover funds. You work with cross-functional teams, handle complex investigations across products and channels, and share lessons learned to strengthen controls. This role offers meaningful impact in safeguarding customers and maintaining ING’s trusted, innovative environment.
Retribuzione / Benefits
Lead end-to-end investigations on fraud reports from systems, customers, and third parties
Collect, analyze and interpret digital forensic traces to support cases
Document findings and report to internal stakeholders and external parties as needed
Collaborate with fraud management and rule writers to define mitigating measures for new MO techniques
Engage with law enforcement and legal teams for data delivery and police reports
Share insights and lessons learned in line with organizational guidelines
Coordinate with global teams when necessary to achieve goals
Operate under pressure with a pragmatic, independent, and decisive approach
Responsabilità
5+ years in a (complex) financial services environment, preferably as investigator or data analyst
Bachelor level education; knowledge of Forensic ICT or Computer Science is an advantage
Experience in digital fraud investigation and relevant laws/regulations
Structured, proactive, flexible, and independent working style
Strong understanding of fraud threats in dynamic environments
Experience engaging diverse stakeholders across countries
Strong data collection, analysis and visualization skills
Excellent questioning, communication and English proficiency
Familiarity with global xjrgpwk and local procedures and compliance
Aligned with ING values and behaviours (Orange Code)
Willingness to work in Milan on a hybrid basis
