For the expansion of our internal team, we are looking for a:
Merger & Acquisition Professional
Role Purpose:
You will be integrated into our IR&MA team, working closely with the assigned Manager. Your responsibilities will include supporting the M&A function, focusing on monitoring and actively scouting potential targets, and handling ordinary and extraordinary activities within the function.
Main Activities:
* Scouting and identification of potential M&A (banking) targets
* Building of valuation models in close collaboration with the planning and control department
* Ongoing collaboration with business functions to gather insights and opportunities
* Maintenance and update of the dedicated database for ongoing initiatives
* Conducting pre-due diligence to assess target acquisitions
* Preparation of documentation for presentation in Confidential Information Memoranda (CDA)
* Coordinating all aspects of an M&A operation: project budget, engagement letter detailing the scope of work with financial consultants, coordination of due diligence conducted by advisors, legal documentation
* Knowledge of the Bank's assets
* Supporting Investor Relations in activities not strictly related to M&A when necessary

* Hold a degree in economics, finance, statistics, or business engineering
* Previous experience of M&A in FIG
* Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within consultancy firms/investment banks/corporate finance departments
* Are proficient in financial statement and financial analysis
* Possess excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Have a strong command of English and preferably a second language (Spanish/French)
