THE ROLE
You will join a well‑established additive manufacturing company that designs and supports high‑precision industrial 3 D printing systems used by customers internationally. The business has a strong engineering focus and works closely with its customers to ensure reliable, long‑term system performance.
As a Post‑Sales Technician / After‑Sales Engineer, you will support customers once systems are installed, providing remote and on‑site technical assistance across hardware, electronics and software. You will be a key point of contact for troubleshooting, machine start‑up and customer training, helping customers get consistent and dependable results from their equipment.
For junior profiles, this role offers structured exposure to complex hardware, electronics, software and customer environments, with the opportunity to build deep expertise in industrial 3 D printing.
For experienced engineers, it offers autonomy, technical ownership, international customer engagement and the chance to influence service quality and diagnostic processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide remote and on‑site technical support to customers
* Diagnose and resolve issues across electronics, hardware, software and system performance
* Act as a first point of contact for customer technical queries via phone, email and digital channels
* Support machine installation, commissioning, start‑up and customer training
* Accurately document cases and actions using a CRM system
* Collaborate closely with internal engineering and service teams to resolve complex issues
* Travel to customer sites in Italy and internationally when required
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of diagnostic tools, processes and customer experience
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
* Technical background in mechanics, mechatronics, electronics or similar
* Experience in technical support, field service, commissioning or troubleshooting
* Ability to analyse faults and work methodically toward solutions
* Confidence working with hardware and software systems
* Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical exploded drawings
* Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
* Comfortable working in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced technical environment
* Willingness to travel when required
* Organised, precise and quality‑driven in your work
* Less experience but strong technical foundations and motivation to learn are absolutely welcome.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Diploma or Degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics or a related technical discipline
* Italian and English, spoken and written
