The role can be based in any of our EU retail locations Madrid, Milan, Munich or Paris. /p pYou will define and drive long‑term objectives and strategy for the business and will be responsible for managing comprehensive selection across multiple large brands, developing collaborative marketing and promotions, and driving sales and margin improvements. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liThe Senior Category/Vendor Manager will manage a strategic Sports Outdoor category to drive business towards the next phase of growth and will own all aspects of their category. /li liYou will scrutinize data to identify key brands to target, initiate and grow long‑term relationships with brands’ senior management, resolve any operational, logistical or business issues, conduct negotiations on Amazon’s behalf and manage the respective category. /li liYou should have experience in building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. /li liYou should have the communication skills to represent Amazon at all executive levels of these organizations. /li liYou will have a deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for creating a world‑class shopping experience for our customers. /li liYou stay on top of industry trends, and is able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level to drive selection, sales, and margin growth, while also improving our customer experience and education. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in vendor management, account management, negotiations or buying /li liExperience with Excel /li liExperience using data to influence business decisions /li liExperience driving internal cross‑team collaboration /li liExperience with business analysis and PL management /li liBachelor’s degree, or experience in a professional field or military /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience of Sports Technology or Cycling industries /li /ul h3Location /h3 pVendor Manager Sports • Milan, Lombardy, ITA /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
