The CNC Operator and Programmer will need to take an active role in ensuring that the company maintains a high level of productivity while adhering to strict safety regulations. They will need to understand the importance of following established operating procedures and will need to have a clear understanding of proper machine maintenance. Responsibilities: - Write, modify, and test CNC programs using CAD/CAM software - Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders - Verify the accuracy of machine settings and make necessary adjustments - Produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications - Troubleshoot any problems that arise during the production process - Monitor machine output and suggest process improvements - Adhere to safety policies and procedures Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred - 2 years experience in CNC programming and operation - Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software, including G-Code - Proficient in manual and CNC machining - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
