We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Systems Designer to join our growing technical team, with a focus on the design and development of photovoltaic (PV) systems and related electrical solutions. Key Responsibilities
Design and size grid-connected photovoltaic systems, including low- and medium-voltage electrical connections.
Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation in compliance with national and regional regulations.
Perform technical feasibility studies and evaluate the suitability of system components and materials.
Liaise with engineering, permitting, and supplier teams to manage grid connection requirements and authorization processes (e.G., GSE, Terna, local utilities).
Provide on-site technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Stay updated on applicable industry standards and regulatory frameworks (e.G., CEI 0-21, CEI 0-16, GSE, Terna) and integrate them into design activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent technical qualifications.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in PV system design (rooftop, ground-mounted, or industrial systems).
Proficiency with PV design tools and electrical software, such as AutoCAD, PV*SOL, PVSyst (or similar).
Solid knowledge of authorization processes and technical standards for PV systems in Italy.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills and good command of English (written and spoken);
Italian native orfluent preferred.
