Overview Result of Service: Deliverables include : preparation of draft technical training materials and exercises for assigned sessions, and delivery of a 2-day workshop in Bangkok with a short synthesis note highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations for Thailand’s digital rehabilitation strategy. Work location : Home based with travel. Expected duration : September to November 2025. Responsibilities and qualifications are described below. Responsibilities Phase 1 – Preparation (Home-based, September 2025) : Draft technical content for assigned sessions (presentations, background readings, facilitator notes). Develop practical exercises (scenario-based activities, group risk mapping, case reflections). Coordinate with UNICRI and TIJ to ensure materials align with the overall agenda and complement other facilitators. Phase 2 – Delivery (Bangkok, 8–9 October 2025) : Co-facilitate the 2-day workshop, deliver technical sessions, and support interactive discussions. Capture and synthesize participant input on risks, opportunities, and strategic directions. Provide a short post-workshop note with key lessons and recommendations. Deliverables : Draft technical training materials and exercises (by 30 September 2025). Co-facilitation of the 2-day Bangkok workshop and submission of a short synthesis note (by 15 October 2025). Qualifications / special skills PhD in criminology, sociology, psychology, social and political sciences, or a related field. At least five (5) years of experience in studying and researching criminal justice issues. Experience in developing ethical frameworks, offenders’ education, and use of digital technologies in prison is highly desirable. Previous experience with the United Nations or similar international organizations is desirable. Previous work on digital technologies and digital inclusion / literacy is desirable.
