BA Fire SaaS Digital ChampionLocation: Milan, ItalyBusiness Unit: Honeywell BA Fire EuropeReports to: General Manager, Software & Services Fire EuropeRole OverviewAs a Digital Champion you will drive the digital transformation of Fire Europe channel partners. Your role is to re‐engineer business models for integrators, distributors and installers, evangelise the Honeywell CLSS (Connected Life Safety Services) as the core operational system, and push the adoption of Honeywell Self‐Test detectors to move partners from labour‐intensive to high‐margin, digital‐first, SaaS‐driven models.Responsibilities
Lead the regional strategic engagement with key channel partners to integrate CLSS into their standard work, from winning new projects to maintenance contracts.Act as a business consultant to partners, using ROI calculators to demonstrably increase technician capacity and MRR through CLSS, remote testing and digital compliance.Support Territory Managers on complex digital specifications, ensuring coupled hardware/software solutions are the default choice for all new projects.Design and deliver Digital Transformation Workshops for partner leadership teams, shifting them from a Capex mindset to an Opex/Lifecycle mindset.Partner with Product Management to ensure EN‐certified fire systems (Esser, Notifier, Gent, etc.) evolve to meet local European digital market needs.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a SaaS, IoT, or Cloud‐based software environment (PropTech, Industrial IoT or Enterprise Software experience highly preferred).Proven track record managing or enabling 2nd‐tier channels/distributors through a digital transition.Strategic mindset: Ability to discuss NPV, IRR, and Gross Retention Rates with partner CEOs while also discussing API integrations and cloud architecture with technical leads.Degree in Engineering, Business or Computer Science; an MBA is a plus.Experience with the Push‐Pull sales methodology.Fluency in English and Italian.Deep understanding of the Subscription Economy and how to minimise churn in a service‐led model.Fire industry or Building Automation domain knowledge is a key differentiator.
