We look forward to getting to know you.Full time – unlimitedYour contribution to the energy transition As our Senior Legal Counsel for Permitting, you will support the Business Development department in managing their daily activities, with particular attention on permitting and regulatory activities as well as real estate topics. This position reports to the Head of Legal and Compliance.Main activities of the role will involve providing legal support in the following phases:Origination: negotiation of real estate contracts with counterpartiesPermitting: liaising with public authorities and participating in authorization proceduresLitigation: supporting the Head of Legal and Compliance in structuring and managing all legal actions related to the projects (particularly, administrative actions), in case liaising also with external consultants/law firmsYou can look forward to the following tasks:Giving support in public law and administrative law, permitting procedures and administrative processes with focus on the origination, development, and authorization of renewable energy powerplantsKeeping track of administrative and civil claims related to the renewable energy sectorAnalyzing, negotiating and drafting legal notes, contracts, and related documentsDemonstrating thorough knowledge of the regulatory framework of the renewable energy sectorSupporting the Head of Legal and Compliance in carrying out, scheduling and prioritizing daily activitiesLiaising with external law professionals (law firms, consultants, notaries and the like)Interacting with other teams as the need might beIn addition to the above, the person could be asked to conduct other legal tasks, supporting the legal department needsYour energy is required You impress us with these qualifications:8 to 15 years of experience in legal roles, ideally within the renewable energy sector or infrastructure projectsProfessional qualification to practice lawMaster's degree in law, preferably with a focus on Administrative Law, Environmental Law, or Energy LawProven track record in permitting processes for large-scale photovoltaic or energy infrastructure projects, including interaction with public authorities and regulatory bodiesIn-depth knowledge of national and regional permitting regulations, environmental impact assessments, and land use planningExperience in managing legal aspects of project development, including zoning, authorizations, and compliance with environmental and administrative requirementsStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with municipalities, agencies, and external consultantsExcellent command of English, both written and spoken (C1 level or higher)You have more to offer?
