This position requires in-role training at an operating site which will be 5+ weeks in duration.
This training will be located 50+ miles away from the home site location. All travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon.
Amazon Process Assistant (Full-time)

Rural Super Rural (RSR) is an organization within Amazon dedicated to ensuring our customers receive their deliveries and are satisfied with our service, even in our most remote areas. We are a combination of operations and support teams aligned to continually innovate the last mile delivery process while bringing smiles to our customers’ faces.
Process Assistants are part of the Last Mile operations in RSR and play a crucial role in this rapidly growing team. They are responsible for daily management of department duties including: allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, providing work direction, and communicating with internal and external suppliers.
Responsibilities :
* Track and report ATS / labor hours
* Assist with production duties, train associates, and verify SOP (standard operating procedure) compliance
* Ensure successful area performance through tracking and reporting metrics
* Assess associate work performance and provide feedback
* Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
* Maintain understanding of workflow and daily production goals
* Review and update SOPs as required
* Ensure work areas remain clean and properly equipped
* Identify and address safety hazards, participate in safety initiatives
* Coach associates on safe work practices
* Report job injuries timely according to policies
* Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
* Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and perform physical tasks
* Work 40 hours/week, overtime as required
* At least 18 years old
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or prior Amazon experience
* Willingness to use OPEX tools and techniques
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
* Effective communication skills
* Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals
* Leadership experience
* Ability to give direction independently
* Strong organization and time management skills
