Job Overview We are seeking a Sales Application Specialist in Microbiology to support customer retention, product acceptance, and technical application support for our diagnostics instruments.
Key Responsibilities
Support pre‑sales and post‑sales demonstrations, training on instrument operation and maintenance, installation assistance, and field support.
Collaborate with regional and local teams to protect, maintain, and grow business and communicate regularly with regional and management teams.
Communicate technical and clinical information to ensure customers use instruments efficiently and skillfully in appropriate applications.
Drive continuous improvement of activities and processes that add value to customers, monitor satisfaction targets, adjust priorities and project tasks to enhance the customer experience, identify new needs and provide solutions not initially identified.
Manage existing accounts and exceed sales growth expectations for instruments and reagents.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Biomedical or equivalent; a Microbiology master’s preferred.
At least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time, including overnight stays in Italy and abroad, with a valid driving license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Italian.
Ability to work autonomously and as a team player.
