On behalf of our client, an adult entertainment in Nicosia, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Junior Accountant & Facility Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in accounting and a background in media or marketing to develop their career within a forward-thinking organisation. If you feel you have the necessary skills, please apply today for this Nicosia based role. MAIN DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
2. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
3. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
4. Process accounts payable invoices and coordinate with vendors regarding payment status
5. Assist with accounts receivable functions, including billing and tracking collections
6. Review and process employee expense reports in alignment with company policy
7. Assist with the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L)
8. Support the Accounting & Reporting Manager in preparing for internal and external audits
9. Ensure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS) and local tax regulations
10. Conduct daily "floor walks" to identify and resolve maintenance issues and office needs
11. Coordinate routine inspections and preventative maintenance for all building systems
CANDIDATE PROFILE
12. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
13. 0–3 years of experience
14. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (Debits/Credits, Accruals).
15. Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables are a must).
16. Familiarity with accounting software (Business Central would be a plus).
17. Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines.
18. Handling sensitive financial data with total confidentiality.
