Intertek is looking for a Material QC Inspector for an important Biorefinery near Venice.
The selected profile will execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site collecting the relevant records.
Will also ensure that management of inspections, material certifications and quality records relevant to project materials during
construction and erection works, are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and Standards, and Subsidiaries
procedures, Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans
Responsabilities:
In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and
construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records
▪ Verify that the supply is in compliance with the Purchase Order and Project Specifications (visual and dimensional control)
▪ Check that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved and handled
▪ Check that materials are correctly identified and traceable
▪ Carry out the visual checks on the materials delivered to the operating site, verifying the integrity of the supply and the
correct marking of the items
▪ Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all material
and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier
▪ Issue the relevant Inspection Material Reports and/or Receiving Inspection Reports, Non Conformity Reports
▪ In Case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/ Inspection
Test Plans, witnessing material inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
Requirements
* Technical Diploma or relevant accademic background
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the role in the Oil & Gas sector
* Knowledge of storage procedures for material preservation.
* Capability to plan, execute, report inspection and test according to Quality Control Plan and update the related Database with the relevant information
* Knowledge of standards as ISO or ASME
