You will guarantee that systems are in control, compliant, and capable of meeting customer needs, while continuously driving process and performance improvements. /ppAs an equipment subject matter expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help the business achieve its safety, quality, and productivity goals. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliMaintain the validated state of site control systems in compliance with Lilly quality standards, including the development and execution of validation strategies and related documentation. /liliServe as lead investigator and executor for automation-related activities. /liliProvide daily operational support for site control systems, including troubleshooting, system modifications (in line with change control procedures), event response, and routine system maintenance. /liliImplement and support electronic systems (e.g., plant historians) to capture and analyze process automation data. /liliDesign, specify, and code control systems, primarily focusing on the site’s Distributed Control Systems (DCS). /liliPerform functional testing of automation systems to ensure performance and reliability. /liliManage automation projects from concept to implementation. /liliProvide automation expertise for capital projects, including new product introductions, system upgrades, and facility expansions. /liliCollaborate effectively to meet production plans and objectives. /liliInterface with external partners and vendors as needed. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree (M.S.) in Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related field. /liliFluent in both spoken and written English. /li /ulh3Additional Skills Attributes /h3ulliExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. /liliStrong organizational and self-management abilities. /liliSolid knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programming. /liliDemonstrated technical curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. /liliPrior experience in process automation engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3pStep into a role where your expertise is recognized, appreciated, and rewarded.
