In this role, you will deploy and manage critical Windows and Linux infrastructure, build automated solutions, and collaborate with global teams to deliver highly-available systems at massive scale. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDeploy, manage, and support large-scale Windows and Linux environments, including virtualization platforms and networking components. /li liCreate and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, or Bash, focusing on scalable deployment processes and infrastructure management. /li liWork with AWS or similar cloud platforms to support hybrid infrastructure environments and cloud services. /li liArchitect and implement secure, scalable solutions while considering system interdependencies and limitations. /li liAnalyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions through root‑cause analysis. /li liDocument solutions, create training materials, and support team knowledge sharing. /li liCollaborate effectively with global teams, provide technical consultation, and support cross‑functional projects. /li liIdentify security risks, develop mitigation plans, and participate in compliance efforts. /li liParticipate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation and be available for up to 20% travel. /li /ul h3Travel Requirement /h3 pMinimal travel required. Expected onsite at a minimum five days a week. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant work experience. /li li4+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration. /li li2+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large-scale computing environments. /li liExperience with Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent scripting languages. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDesigning and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes for maintainability, scalability, and security. /li liExperience working in a 24/7 production environment. /li liExperience with service‑oriented architecture and web services. /li /ul h3About the Team /h3 pThe AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
