Job Description:
Xchanging, a DXC Technology company, is looking for a junior accountant to insert in Securities Master Data and Pricing unit.
The candidate, after an initial training period, will manage operational activities related to the updating of financial instruments master data and the valuation of client portfolios, in line with agreed SLAs.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the update of securities master data and related records (issuers, exchanges, indices, ratings, interest rates);
* Assisting in the management of corporate and administrative actions (coupons, dividends, capital operations);
* Entering and verifying master data received from external providers and Clients;
* Supporting daily valuation activities for financial instruments;
* Monitoring correct price uploads and consistency of system information;
* Operational interaction with internal functions (Fund Accounting, Cash and Securities Reconciliation, Settlement, Regulatory Reporting) and with external stakeholders (Clients, Custodian Banks, Information Providers);
Requirements:
* High school diploma or university degree (also in progress) in Economics, Finance, or related fields;
* Familiarity with major information providers (Bloomberg, Telekurs, Reuters..);
* Good knowledge of English
