We develop and maintain security platforms and tooling that simplify and scale security operations while resolving complex issues. This role is part of Amazon Security OpRes, a team dedicated to enhancing security posture through automation and innovation.
You are a Software Developer Engineer who thrives on delivering innovative solutions that solve complex business problems and delight customers with efficiency and productivity gains. Your passion lies in building scalable, high‐quality software that drives real impact. While experience in security is a plus, it's not required. What matters is your ability to craft robust, efficient, and user‐friendly tools and applications, leveraging modern software development practices and technologies such as AWS services, Python, TypeScript, and data engineering tools.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Professional experience in software development (non‐internship).
- Extensive experience in designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems.
- Experience developing for Linux OS (or macOS/mac command‐line).
- Programming experience with at least one language: Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- National of an EU member state.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience developing using SQL and NoSQL databases.Experience in cloud technologies.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English (C1).
