For our Client we are looking for IT Sourcing Manager
Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Location: Remote, with occasional travel if required - Italy based preferred
Role Purpose
Our client is seeking an IT Sourcing Manager to reinforce the IT Sourcing function during a period of high activity and strategic transformation. The resource will act as backfill support while proactively driving RFQ process, cost optimization initiative, contract value enhancement and sourcing excellence initiatives across the IT perimeter. The role is expected to autonomously lead RFQ process in a structured way, generate measurable financial impact, strengthen commercial governance and improve supplier value contribution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead contract renewals and commercial renegotiations with clear savings and value improvement targets
Challenge pricing models, rate cards and cost structures
Optimize scope, eliminate inefficiencies and prevent cost leakage
Identify re-scope, consolidation and bundling opportunities
Ensure economic robustness and long-term sustainability of agreements
Outcome: Measurable savings and improved commercial conditions across the IT portfolio.
2. Strategic RFQ Leadership
Manage end-to-end RFQ lifecycle with strong commercial positioning
Conduct benchmarking, should-cost analysis and scenario modelling
Prepare negotiation strategy and executive decision materials
Drive supplier competition to maximize value creation
Outcome: High-impact sourcing events delivering optimized TCO and risk-balanced contracts.
3. IT Commodity Assessment & Value Roadmap
Assess IT supplier landscape, spend concentration and dependency risks
Perform spend analysis and identify structural savings levers
Analyze tail spend and rationalization potential
Identify quick wins and mid-term transformation opportunities
Contribute to the definition of a value-driven IT sourcing roadmap

4. Governance & Commercial Discipline
Strengthen sourcing governance and decision gates
Support SOW structuring and contractual clarity
Identify risk areas and protect commercial exposure
Ensure alignment between Business, IT and Legal stakeholders
Outcome: Increased commercial control, reduced risk exposure and stronger governance discipline.
Profile Required
Strong experience in IT sourcing, commercial negotiations and contract renewals
Demonstrated track record in cost optimization and savings delivery
Advanced commercial and financial analysis capability
Experience managing complex RFQs in international environments
Ability to operate autonomously and influence senior stakeholders
Structured, analytical and value-oriented mindset Success Criteria
