Overview Location Italy, Guanzate, Italy Seco Tools is a division within Business Area Segment Sandvik Machining Solutions, with around 4200 employees and operations spread across 75 different countries. We’re also one of the world’s largest providers of comprehensive metal cutting solutions for milling, turning tools, hole making and tooling systems. We’re now searching for a vibrant and highly motivated Vice President for Global Sales - an inspiring leader, who’s passionate to take our organization to the next level. Is that you? About the job This job is about securing our growth, along with developing and implementing sales strategies to gain market share. You execute this strategy in alignment with our overall strategic initiatives and global marketing plans, processes and KPI’s - and you make sure everyone’s onboard! You take responsibility for the results of Seco Tools sales activities globally, and you walk the talk as we aim for a more digitally flexible approach when meeting our customers. You set the scene for a great sales organization and secure the competence for continued success, and you review and monitor sales performance and refine strategies if required. You also take an active role in strategies including pricing, product mix and brand portfolio. You set forecasts, are up to date on business trends, and you work closely with the Sales Area Directors to evolve our tactics and increase performance in our sales operation models on a global scale with local adaption. You actively advocate Sustainability as a natural part of our business. All in all, you support us in taking fact-based business decisions, leveraging data from our CRM and data analytics systems. To wrap it up You lead, inspire and are accountable for a large sales and marketing team globally, with 11 people directly reporting to you, and a global organization of about 1500 people. You report to the President of Seco Tools, and you are a key player in the Seco Tools Management Team - with high exposure to other parts of Sandvik Group. The preferable location is flexible within European time zones and international travel is a natural part of the job. Responsibilities Lead and manage a global sales and marketing organization with accountability for performance and results. Develop and implement sales strategies to gain market share in alignment with global initiatives and KPIs. Set forecasts, analyze market trends, and adjust tactics; collaborate with Sales Area Directors for global and local optimization. Drive pricing, product mix, and brand portfolio decisions; advocate sustainability as part of business practices. Leverage CRM and data analytics to support fact-based decision making. Qualifications Senior experience in global sales management; ability to lead a large, cross-border team. Knowledge of products and markets is beneficial; willingness to learn from others and adapt. University degree in Engineering or a commercial field. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Strong change-management, collaboration, and inspiring leadership skills.
