* Purpose of the Job
The Service Training Academy Manager has to coordinate, to promote and to manage all the Training Activities in Services Italy.
Responsibilities
* Support to organize a dedicated Training Academy, collect all internal needs, create and maintain an internal register about all the training activities, all trained people, all trainers people in order to cover all the contractual, legal, but not only, requirements of our customers and to improve the quality / capabilities of Service maintenance personnel.
* Send training programmes on safety activities to the ANSF (Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza delle Ferrovie) designating examination boards for certification of professional requirements on safety activities, check and upgrade competences of authorized personnel working on safety activities.
* Upgrade and maintain the Register of Instructors (including Instructors and Examiners recognized by ANSF for safety activities).
* Support Operations and Line Managers in identifying proper training paths for personnel employed.
* Maintain and develop a Competence Management System compliant to the provisions by the Agenzia Nazionale per la Sicurezza delle Ferrovie (Italian National Agency for Railway Safety).
* Develop and improve the Database for technical training records.
* To support to improve and guarantee the adequate knowledge of Service Alstom personnel, about:
* General knowledge of trains.
* Special processes: Closing torque, Crimping, Glueing, Sealing, Riveting, Painting, Welding
* Specialized knowledge of trains concerning first and second level Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.
* Alstom Tools (Musa Database, Therefore, CANON e ALPS)
* Organizations of the ALPS development plan
* Etc.
* To support the Service Training Academy to maintain a high level of performance in Training activities.

The Service Training Academy Manager will report directly to the Engineering Director inside the Service Engineering Italy.
