This role combines consumer science technical expertise and strategic thinking, that enable the leadership to drive evidence‑based decision‑making across multiple categories and markets. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libConsumer Learning Testing Execution: /bbr/ Execute consumer learning plans and testing strategies to deliver timely, high quality insights aligned to business and projects objectives.br/ Execute consumer research that uncovers consumer behavioral, cultural, and sensory insights to support projects and marketing strategies.br/ Integrate deep consumer research expertise with strong business acumen, ensuring good understanding of business partner needs and delivering impactful, business‑relevant scientific insights. /li libInsight Translation Deployment: /bbr/ Translate consumer research findings into clear, actionable insights that identify opportunities and execute strategic decisions.br/ As subject matter expert, partner with RD, marketing, and Consumer Business Intelligence (CBI) teams to deploy robust claim substantiation, translate complex scientific and consumer data into compelling, consumer centric evidence to support projects, claims and communication. /li libHuman-Centered Methodologies: /bbr/ Apply human‑centered research approaches, providing expertise and guidance to support the deployment of new products and consumer experiences.br/ Pioneer and apply advanced research methodologies, including sensory evaluation, consumer testing, and digital tools to strengthen consumer research and digital capabilities. /li libCross-Functional Collaboration: /bbr/ Build strong, trusted partnerships across regional and global stakeholders to ensure alignment between consumer insights, technical feasibility and business objectives.br/ Influence cross functional decision-making through scientific expertise, data‑driven support, and evidence‑based perspectives, to enable and deliver meaningful outcomes for consumers. /li libTeam Leadership: /bbr/ Build strategic connections across need states to align business priorities, and support long‑term pipeline and portfolio strategy.br/ Build and grow deep consumer research expertise by coaching and mentoring team members to elevate expertise and capabilities.br/ Fostering a culture of curiosity, inclusivity, continuous learning and high performance within the team.br/ Responsible for effective budget management, ensure robust budget tracking and all spending are met within approved budget plan. /li libQuality Compliance: /bbr/ Provide oversight and accountability to ensure all research activities comply with industry and company standards.br/ Drive consistent application of approved research procedures, SOPs, and quality practices across projects and teams. Identify and proactively mitigate compliance risks, support audit and inspection readiness. /li libExternal Engagement: /bbr/ Cultivate relationships with industry partners, external agencies and academic institutions to enhance research capabilities and thought leadership. /li libIndustry Awareness: /bbr/ Stay at forefront of the latest advancements, methodologies and trends in consumer research and relevant industries to continuously enhance organizational expertise and knowledge sharing. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liA minimum of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with approximately 8–10 years of industry experience is required; Biology/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Pharmacology degrees preferred but not mandatory. /li liRelevant experience in consumer science, with a proven track record of success. /li liBeing able to connect cross‑functionally to determine testing needs for various projects. These projects can fall under any of our categories (Baby Care, Women’s Health, Oral Care, Skin Health and Beauty, Self Care / OTC medicines). /li liPrevious experience of managing a team of consumer/market researchers in FMCG, Health care, or research agencies. /li liUp to 10% international travel may be needed. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liPrevious experience in consumer/market researchers, and/or claim support and substantiation.
