About the work As a Bid Engineer, you will be responsible for quoting and costing modules, machines, and complex lines involved in heat treatment and aseptic packaging processes, mainly for food processing and packaging. You will collaborate with Procurement, Supply, Technical Department, Workshop, and Commissioning Manager to develop the best commercial offers based on relevant technical proposals, aiming to win projects. You will continually seek process improvements and foster learning and efficiency within the team. You will act as the link between New Sales and Operations to define optimal options, emphasizing team spirit. You will ensure timely and high-quality delivery of bids and support, with customer satisfaction as a priority. Who are you You are a proven engineer capable of establishing efficient work processes and driving change. Customer satisfaction motivates you. You adapt quickly to changing market needs, especially in demanding industries. Your ability to operate in a matrix environment and identify the right stakeholders enables swift execution to meet objectives. Your listening and analytical skills, combined with team spirit, help prioritize and keep customers at the center of your actions. What you know You are trained as a Mechanical, Thermal, or Chemical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Knowledge of welding, manufacturing processes, materials, and standards like ASME, PED, FDA is highly valued. You have proven experience managing internal and external collaborators, including indirect and temporary management. Your leadership qualities are recognized. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are fluent in English to operate effectively in an international environment.
