Our Client is an important multinational company located in the Reggio Emilia area. It is a global leader in producing strategic components for a wide range of customers, dealers, and B2B clients in the automotive, construction, and agricultural industries. We are seeking an Industrial Plant Controller to join the EMEA Finance Team, a strategic unit within the organization. The candidate must have knowledge of English and SAP. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial results of the Global Diesel Engines division (primarily EMEA region), including monthly reviews focused on operations and standard costs. The role involves overseeing standard processes, procedures, and systems for the global Diesel Engines division. Main Responsibilities of the Role Evaluate and measure financial and operational performance, including the publication of monthly financial statements and handling special projects as required. Ensure compliance with corporate and group accounting policies, recommending improvements where necessary. Analyze variances to budgets, forecasts, and prior years, identifying opportunities for margin improvement and cost reduction. Manage the annual budgeting of manufacturing standard costs based on production volumes, coordinating with relevant departments. Collaborate with the finance team on monthly sales forecasting, cost of sales, and manufacturing variances across product lines. Lead, develop, and train the EMEA Operations analysts’ team. Facilitate the monthly forecasting process, establishing consistent reporting and analysis methodologies. Advise the management team of Global Diesel Engines on financial matters related to operations. Support the Finance Director in fostering business partnerships across departments and levels. Qualifications: 3-7 years of professional experience as an industrial controller in manufacturing, preferably within a multinational environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics or Engineering Management. Experience supervising small teams, prioritizing tasks, and delegating effectively. Excellent communication skills to engage at all organizational levels. Willingness to travel 3-4 times a year to the US and India. Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English. Proficiency in SAP and Excel; knowledge of Power BI is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
