Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead IT readiness for the Cortina d'Ampezzo opening and oversee ongoing operations across the cluster. You will coordinate installation, testing, and stabilization of hotel IT infrastructure, while ensuring security, uptime, and compliance. You’ll partner with corporate IT, vendors, and hotel leadership to deliver a seamless guest and team tech experience. The role combines pre-opening setup, peak-season resilience, and continuous improvement in a luxury-hospitality context.

* Lead pre-opening IT deployment to ensure full system readiness before opening
* Manage daily IT operations and provide first-line support to colleagues and second-line to guests
* Coordinate installation, configuration, and testing of hotel IT infrastructure (servers, endpoints, network, guest-facing tech)
* Align with Mandarin Oriental corporate IT standards and work with Cluster IT for standardization and governance
* Monitor and optimize core hospitality systems (PMS, POS, VoIP, back-office apps) and telephony systems
* Ensure IT readiness during peak seasons and onboarding of seasonal staff
* Oversee IT activities across vendors, service providers, and project work with prioritization
* Manage IT projects, changes, testing, documentation, and rollback procedures
* Maintain cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS) and lead security awareness training
* Support pre-opening budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation
* Develop junior team members and foster a culture of service excellence and accountability
Responsabilità
* Proven IT leadership experience in luxury hospitality or complex operations
* Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking (LAN/WAN), and Windows Server environments with virtualization
* Experience with hospitality systems (PMS, POS, VoIP) is highly desirable
* Familiarity with AV systems and event technology in luxury settings is a plus
* Ability to operate effectively in pre-opening environments and seasonal operations
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
* Fluency in English; Italian preferred
