Since its opening in 1939, Rosa Alpina has offered its guests an unparalleled base for exploring Italy's UNESCO-protected Dolomites, celebrating the history of the property while uniting it with Aman's philosophy. Role To oversee the operations of the housekeeping department on a daily basis while maintaining the structure and well-being of the department by controlling payroll costs, supply budgets, forecasting, quality and colleague guidelines. Responsibilities - Ensure well-furnished and maintained guest rooms and public space area as well as the cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic value is achieved. - Accommodate guest requests for housekeeping items or additional supplies expediently and courteously. - Ensure that seamless service is provided to all guests. - Ensure that the proper training of colleagues is always performed by selected departmental trainers. - Ensure that efficient system is upheld in the maintaining of work orders ensuring that they are adhered to by both housekeeping and engineering departments. - Maintain and update purchase orders and requisitions on a consistent basis. - Inspect supply level, cleanliness and organization of floor closets and assign designated employees to rectify and deficiencies. - Keep track of the R&M program, that it is conducted as scheduled. Requirements: - Verbal and written proficiency in Italian and English. - Sound knowledge of OPERA and its functions. - Computer literacy. - Training ability. - Minimum 2 years as Housekeeping Manager in an international luxury hotel. - Computer knowledge.
