PpJob Description - Night Manager - EMEA (HOT0C3U6) /p h3Job Number: /h3 pHOT0C3U6 /p h3Work Locations: /h3 pHilton Rome Eur La Lama Viale Europa 287 Rome 144 /p pA Night Manager oversees the night-hour supervision of the Front Office Team to ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver our Guests an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. /p h3What will I be doing? /h3 ul liOversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards /li liServe as a point of contact for regular and VIP Guests /li liMaximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities /li liUnderstand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy /li liRepresent the Hotel Manager and other senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel /li liManage, record and promptly resolve issues or emergencies that arise /li liDemonstrate current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area /li liAct in accordance with all security and emergency procedures and manage the instigation of these, as required /li liCompile adequate handover to Early staff / Duty Manager /li liAttend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts /li liAct in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems /li liConduct annual and mid-year Appraisals with Team Members /li liConduct Health and Safety Checks and Night Walks, and maintain a good status awareness of all hotel areas /li liAssist other departments, as necessary /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 ul liPrevious supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel/leisure/retail /li liHigh level of IT proficiency /li liExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills /li liAccountable and resilient /li liCommitment to delivering a high level of customer service /li liAbility to work under pressure /li liFlexibility to respond to a variety of work situations /li liAbility to work on your own and as part of a team /li /ul h3It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: /h3 ul liPrevious experience in the hotel industry /li liPrevious experience with Front Office Management Systems /li liPrevious experience with cash handling /li /ul h3What will it be like to work for Hilton? /h3 pHilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
