About the role : The Pastry Cook prepares sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, and fruit compotes according to guest and banquet orders, maintaining quality standards and a safe, sanitary environment. What you will do : ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Be part of the opening team. Prepare pastry items following recipes, standards, and production requirements; set up stations for service. Start prepared food items, ensuring not to prepare beyond needs. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly. Manage food containers, rotate perishables, track stock levels, and assist in controlling food costs. Follow Four Seasons’ work rules and standards of conduct. Work professionally with colleagues and supervisors. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Assist in prep work for vegetables and condiments. What you bring : High school diploma or culinary education or equivalent experience. At least 1 year of culinary or related experience preferred. Basic culinary knowledge and proficiency in English.
