We are looking for a Buyer to join our Home, Personal & Beauty Care BU based in Nova Milanese, near Milan, Italy.
How you make the difference
The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the Procurement strategies on selected Direct Material categories (Packaging, Chemicals...) of Home & Personal Care Brands.
How Your Agenda Looks Like
You will manage the Procurement initiatives of the Categories under your responsibility: scouting and selection of sources, negotiations of contractual agreements, implementation of agreed strategies in line with company requirements, relationship with external suppliers as well as internal functions (R&D, Production, Planning, Finance and Marketing) will be the key priorities of your daily work.
As part of the innovation process, you will have an active role in the project management for new launches in the market with the objective of ensuring the sourcing of materials, the best associated costs and partnership with external suppliers.
You will be responsible for delivering the objectives of cost efficiency and optimization through the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators and analytical reports and tools.
You will therefore ensure the consistency of the procurement process with the Company Policies.
The Team
You will report directly to a Group Procurement Manager and you will be part of the Product Supply Organization of the entire HPCB Division based in Nova Milanese.
What Makes You a Great Fit
* Education: Master Degree in Management Engineering, Business Administration, or similar background
* Work Experience: 4/5 years ideally in Procurement/Supply Chain area.
* Soft skills:
o Strong capabilities to connect and cooperate with internal functions.
o Solid Attitude on building external relationships and communication skills.
o Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
o Being able to work in a flexible and challenging environment.
* Technical Skills:
o Analytical capabilities
o Strong knowledge on drafting Procurement Strategies
o Office package, in particular Excel; SAP;
* Language: Italian mother language and Business English.
