Your responsibilities include: /pulliOwn the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions to add infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and/or increase sustainability. /liliPerform design and equipment submittal review for Data Centers in your region. /liliInterface with internal and external data center design engineering teams, server hardware team, environmental health safety team, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability. /liliWork on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions. /liliAct as a technical subject matter expert for your discipline during new remediation projects. /liliSupport construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover. /li /ulpAs an ideal candidate you should: /pulliPossess strong engineering judgment and be able to provide design recommendations despite uncertainty. /liliBe detail‑oriented and data‑oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes. /liliHave experience managing engineering projects and engineering consultants. /liliBuild trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction, and Design). /liliManage design and as‑built drawings and documents. /liliPrepare and present progress reports to all relevant stakeholders. /liliBe inclined to get into the field to see things up close. /li /ulpA day in the life of a Fleet Remediation Project Design Mechanical Engineer involves interacting with teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers.
