Job Summary

As a TIS Cluster Director, you will play a critical role in translating and embedding the EMEA TIS Sales & Marketing strategy into local markets. You will lead cross-country sales teams, drive business performance, and ensure consistent implementation of our evolving commercial approach across your cluster. Depending on the region, the GTM approach is direct or indirect sales. This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder engagement in a dynamic, international environment. You are responsible for Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus.

Job Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a key member of the TIS leadership community, contributing to the development and deployment of EMEA strategies
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Influence stakeholders across the value chain and challenge the status quo to continuously improve business performance
  • Translate regional strategies into impactful local execution across multiple countries
  • Ensure compliance in all the processes in your region
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Managers across several countries in Southern Europe.
  • Foster a collaborative, solution-oriented team culture focused on achieving shared goals
  • Allocate and optimise human, technical, and commercial resources to deliver results
  • Build confidence in the organisation’s strategic direction through strong leadership and communication

Shape Commercial Excellence & Market Growth

  • Engage with senior decision-makers, industry experts, and institutional stakeholders across Europe
  • Identify growth opportunities by leveraging market insights across Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Interventions, and Interventional Oncology
  • Drive the development and delivery of sales training initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Adapt strategies to different market dynamics, ensuring relevance and impact across countries
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies at cluster and country level
  • Define and monitor sales targets to ensure revenue growth and profitability
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans, budgets, and tactical initiatives
  • Take ownership of cluster-level P&L performance
  • Drive market penetration strategies aligned with regional priorities
  • Provide insights on market and competitive trends to support strategy adjustments
  • Oversee all TIS commercial activities within the cluster

Qualifications

  • University degree in Sales, Business, or a related field (medical, paramedical, or pharmaceutical background preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in an international commercial setting in Italy and Spain.
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, both in direct and indirect sales models (distributors, agents, ...) and well informed about emerging trends in the interventional medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a complex, dynamic, and multicultural environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
  • Strong business insight, including strategic planning, financial management, and organizational leadership. Trackrecord in commercial change management and optimzing go-to-market strategies.
  • Compliance is high on your radar. Experience working across European markets with a well-established professional network.
  • Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish is a must.
  • You are based in Italy or Spain.
