Functional Safety Engineer (FUSA)
in automotive in Turin (Torino).
Primary responsibilities include working with suppliers, verifying safety requirements, performing safety analyses, and collaborating with internal teams.Responsibilities
Manage the supplier from a technical standpoint, acting as the interface with the supplier.
Perform documentation control on functional safety deliverables.
Apply the ISO ***** standard throughout the product life cycle.
Contribute to the definition and update of Safety Plan and Safety Case.
Execute safety analyses (e.G., HARA, FTA, TARA) on supplier reports.
Verify proper implementation of safety requirements by the supplier.
Collaborate with internal teams (systems, hardware, software) to ensure safety compliance.
Draft Functional Safety Requirements (FSR) and Technical Safety Requirements (TSR).
Qualifications
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience as a Functional Safety Engineer in automotive.
Experience writing FSR/TSR and tracking their traceability.
Strong experience applying ISO *****.
Knowledge of key safety analysis techniques: HARA, TARA, Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA/FMEDA.
Experience in creating and managing Safety Plan and Safety Case.
Language proficiency: Italian C1 and English B2.
Teamwork, clear communication with suppliers and stakeholders, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality deliverables.
Preferred experience in automotive OEM/Tier1 contexts or engineering consulting firms.
