Our products help plants overcome the toughest flow control challenges. /p h3Position: Director, Project Operations /h3 pThis role will be responsible for leading the execution of Flowserve Pump Division (FPD) projects for pump sites in North and South America. Reporting directly to the Vice President Operations for FPD, this position will oversee plant project teams and work closely with platform and plant leadership to plan, execute, and deliver projects within contracted schedule, budget, and quality. Additionally, this role will coordinate with the Director, Project Management Office to ensure strategic alignment and project management best practices. /p h3Key Metrics : /h3 ul liForecasting accuracy /li liResource turnover /li /ul h3Responsibilities: /h3 ul liAccountable for project profitability, delivery, and organizational performance in the region. /li liSet goals and expectations for project teams, aligning with platform and enterprise strategies. /li liImplement organizational efficiencies and best practices with the PMO. /li liManage cross-initiative collaboration among Platform Leadership, PMO, and global leaders. /li liEnsure projects adhere to timelines, targets, and operating systems. /li liDrive regional and plant-level project reporting cadence (e.g., FPD Project Reviews). /li liMonitor, manage, and improve customer experience. /li liAddress customer escalations, root cause analysis, and implement mitigation actions. /li liEngage with sales and commercial operations to understand upcoming project opportunities. /li liEnhance front-end planning, order handover, and project de-risking. /li liManage resource capacity and utilization aligned with backlog and forecasts. /li liCollaborate on global project plans. /li liAssess and develop project leadership talent and succession planning. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liMinimum 15+ years’ experience in engineer-to-manufacture environments. /li liProficiency in project systems and organizational operations. /li liExperience working directly with global customers on project delivery and problem-solving. /li liStrong understanding of project management best practices and governance. /li liExperience leading large teams within a matrixed organization. /li liWillingness to travel approximately 30%. /li liAbility to develop and articulate operational strategies and influence support. /li liExcellent influencing, collaboration, and communication skills. /li liStrong planning, coordination, and data analysis skills. /li liProficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, German, Italian) and a graduate degree (MBA or relevant field) are desirable. /li /ul pThe role requires contact with all leadership levels. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
