Position SummaryThe Finished Goods Warehouse Manager will act as the operational and functional owner of the start-up of the new automated warehouse, from the design and commissioning phases through to full operational go‐live. Once the warehouse is running, the role ensures the effective and safe management of all warehouse operations, the performance of the automation systems, and the development and coordination of the warehouse team.A day in the life of an Automated Warehouse Manager:Automated Warehouse Start Up (Start Up Ownership) Lead and coordinate all activities related to the start‐up of the new automated warehouse.Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, IT and external vendors during layout definition and process design.Identify early‐stage issues and coordinate corrective actions and continuous improvements with technical teams. Operational Management Ensure correct and efficient handling, storage, picking and shipping of finished goods.Coordinate material flows in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and traceability. People Management Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team.Organize shift coverage, task allocation and skills development plans.Provide training for the team before and after the start‐up phase.
