Synergie Italia Spa, Milan Cadorna branch, is recruiting for a leading company operating in the energy sector to fill the role of:
Position
The selected candidate will be part of the Portfolio Analysis & Forecasting team within the Gas & Power Portfolio Management & Optimization Business Unit, Gas Supply. The main task will be supporting the management of the company's gas portfolio through analysis, simulations, and economic evaluations. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting decision-making through analysis and simulations considering regulatory and contractual constraints, as well as industry best practices;
* Analyzing and interpreting the economic/operational performance of the Midstream Gas Business Unit, identifying areas for improvement or optimization opportunities;
* Planning and forecasting the gas portfolio by estimating sources of supply and uses, collecting and analyzing data from various company areas to develop sustainable and economically advantageous forecasts;
* Participating in cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and profitability of operations within the Business Unit.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines;
* Preferably some experience in economic evaluations, ideally within the midstream gas sector or related fields;
* Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Office tools;
* A passion for data analysis and interpretation;
* Good command of English (minimum B2 level);
Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail are also essential.
Additional Information
Location: Milan (city center).
Work hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months in temporary agency employment.
