The role
The Controller is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting processes, and providing business support to facilitate informed decision-making. This role requires a high level of analytical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with to stakeholders across the group.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
* Manage the company’s budgeting cycle, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, collaborating with group and department heads to align on targets and objectives
* Provide proactive business support by interpreting financial and business data to improve performance and drive growth.
* Oversee day-to-day accounting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards
* Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and enhance financial integrity.
* Serve as a key point of contact for group functions, external auditors, and regulatory bodies regarding financial matters.
Qualifications & Background
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum 5 – 10 years of experience within auditing and controlling business partner roles for manufacturing companies
* Proven experience working with BI tools (Power BI preferred)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive, structured, and able to work independently and collaboratively
* Fluent in English
