Deltatre provides strategy, planning, consultancy across all stages of our client's lifecycle.We offer a flexible working model, allowing you to work from home/remotely and from the office.Reporting to the Group Head of Accounting and Procurement in our Italian office, the Finance Manager will support with Italy, France and Switzerland accounting and have responsibility for the finance function of the Italian entity.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of three/four direct reportsCoordinate the month end closing processes (journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation)Monthly/Quarterly Balance sheet reconciliations - accrued and deferred income, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompanyReview of bookkeeping including sales ledger, purchase ledgerCoordination of the external audit processPayroll: management of monthly payroll bookkeeping and internal controls; serve as primary point of contact with external payroll provider and internal HR teamPlanning and preparation of the vendor payment runs, review and authorisation of paymentsWorking alongside FP&A; team on monthly reporting of actual vs forecast, revenue reconciliationsOversight of France and Switzerland branches, including payroll, audit, payment approvals; served as primary liaison with external payroll providerAd hoc Excel modelling and spreadsheet design as required5+ years in similar role (or Big4 experience)Italian GAAP and IFRS knowledgeExcellent Excel skills - confidently uses SUMIFS, SUMIF, COUNTIF, lookups, pivot tables, and can manipulate large quantities of data and summarisePrevious experience in multi-currency environment / large groupsKnowledge of Netsuite (current ERP) desirable but not essentialPrevious experience within technology/media sector desirable but not essentialExperience of year end audit and liaison with auditorsThrives in a global, multi-cultural corporate environmentProficient in written and spoken EnglishTeam player - confident in supporting staff membersEffective communicator - the role will require interaction with a number of project managers and key stakeholders in addition to finance reporting lines (in Italy and abroad)We’re looking for someone who is:driven to push the boundaries and lead change and performancecommunicative to leave no-one in the dark and to work with your team successfullyreliable so we know that we can call on you to meet deadlinespassionate about the latest technologies and standardsproactive to suggest improvements, identify and fix potential issuessolid technically speaking, to advise both Clients and internal teamsOur people are key to our success and we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic, creative, innovative and supportive environment.
