Location: Colorno (PR), Italy
Are you passionate about mechanical engineering and eager to make a tangible impact in a global organization? We're looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our R&D department and contribute to the design and continuous improvement of elevator components that move millions of people every day.
What you’ll do:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, with a focus on elevator doors and safety devices
Collaborate with Testing, Product Certification, Manufacturing, and other departments throughout the product lifecycle
Analyze product failures and contribute to root cause investigations and corrective actions
Manage technical documentation and participate in DFMEA reviews
Support product localization and cost reduction initiatives
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
1–3 years of experience in mechanical design (or strong academic projects/internships)
Proficiency in 3D CAD (preferably Creo), PLM tools, and technical drawings
Knowledge of materials, machining, sheet metal, and die casting processes
A proactive team player with strong analytical and communication skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
