Descrizione del lavoro
As Food and Beverage Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Follow the posted opening and closing duties
* Take accurate and complete reservations
* Provide excellent service at all times
* Set and maintain the dining room environment and materials perfectly clean
* Have a good knowledge of menu items to assist guests when needed
* Assist guests and colleagues courteously and efficiently
* Use the guest’s name appropriately and communicate it to restaurant colleagues and managers so they can do the same
* Assist in seating guests
* Support restaurant colleagues in preparing for service
* Communicate important information with colleagues ( birthdays, anniversaries, special requests)
* Handle reservations and prepayments for special events, holiday brunches, wine dinners, cooking classes, etc.
* Coordinate set menus for small groups and distribute copies of the event form accordingly
* Maintain menu cleanliness and print menus as needed
* Inform restaurant managers daily about the reservation forecast
* Share information about upcoming events with the Concierge team
* Assist in monitoring all guest needs
* Confirm daily reservations and inform the Chef accordingly
* Record guest preferences
* Check daily preferences of regular guests and update the service list
Qualifiche
As Food and Beverage Coordinator, we expect from you:
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Knowledge of the Seltz program is required.
* Good computer skills and strong organizational and administrative abilities
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent grooming and hygiene at all times
* A good level of English is preferred.
