For our Italian Branch located in Caponago (MB) we are looking for a Project Manager with 3-6 years of experiences that want to support Burckhardt Compression Italia in the next challenging years. In particular She / He : is in general the main responsible person for execution of projects related to supply of Compressor Systems from order to effective handover for operation to client. If a project is split between Burckhardt Compression subsidiaries, the PM is assigned either the Lead PM role or local and / or partial PM role in accordance with the project organization defined. As a Lead PM, he / she has to supervise and assign tasks other local PMs / PEs, and coordinate all activities of BC globally and take responsibility for overall scope of supply, delivery and margin. As a PM, he / she reports to the project Lead PM for the project portion assigned to him. When a Project Director is assigned to a project, the PM implements the defined strategy for project execution and reports to the PD according defined rhythm and procedures. Together with the Sales Engineer, responsible for success of the assigned project or project portion. Responsible for relationship with customer Responsible of project team coordination, assignment of tasks to PEs, SPEs ensuring the completeness of project execution, the optimization of manhours spent and quality of deliverables. Defines the internal reporting rhythm and procedure with PEs and other functions. Responsible for design and function of the plant in accordance with specifications. The PM is direct owner of multidisciplinary technical documentation (P&IDs, General Arrangements, Foundation drawings, Compressor Datasheet, Functional Description etc) and can decide to delegate them to PE / SPE based on his experience and team member experience. Responsible of overall project risk management, quality, time, cost control of the assigned projects including planning, expediting and progress reporting externally and internally Ensures efficient project handling in conformity with customer requirements together with the production of documents contractually specified for delivery. Handling of customer correspondence from receipt of contract through successful commissioning. Employing and monitoring the allocated resources and cost-planning for current project. Consistent Claim Management and ensuring that billing is properly undertaken. Supporting the Sales Engineers during the offer phase in complex cases. SAP setup of project structures. Main Reference to all project related functions inside the company (Shipping, Finance, I&C, Compressor design etc), he effectively delegates and facilitates the direct communication of functions ensuring timely exchange of information and preventing any gap.
