Job Description:
Antonio Marras entered the fashion world almost by chance in 1987. He debuted in Milan with his eponymous collection in 1999. From the beginning, he was recognized for his experimentation and ability to narrate the diverse realities around him, creating blends of art, music, dance, theater, and cinema, which is his great passion.
He remains difficult to categorize as merely a designer, fostering dialogue between haute couture and ready-to-wear, Antonio Marras is unique in his genre, applying his personal vision across all fields he explores.
For him, fashion is a link between all other languages, a space for free expression, a new alphabet he uses to dialogue with the world and to express himself.
Deeply connected to his homeland, Antonio makes it his strength and a continuous source of inspiration. Key elements of Marras's style include meticulous attention to craftsmanship, a pursuit of innovation with new materials, and the reinterpretation of universal concepts. The 'ligazzio rubio,' meaning 'red thread' in Sardinian, is the unmistakable mark of the maison—a true 'fil rouge,' a thread of passion that unites all his creations.
