PpThe Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor. This is a permanent, full‑time role (40‑hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off). The reference point for the world’s elite at international city events such as the Biennale, Carnival and the Venice Film Festival. /p h3What we offer /h3 ul liProfessional career progression at international level in 9000 Marriott hotels /li liLearning and development opportunities online, on the job and in‑class /li liDiscounts on hotel rooms, gift shop items, food and beverage /li liEncouraging management team‑spirited colleagues /li liCharity events, wellbeing activities and voluntary work in the community of Venice through the TakeCare program /li liCanteen service and uniform /li /ul h3What you will do /h3 ul liInspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by housekeeper to ensure quality standards. /li liRun sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. /li liAssist housekeeping management in managing daily activities. /li liAct as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry. /li liDocument and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk. /li liPrepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift. /li liComplete required paperwork. /li liAssist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees. /li liFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. /li liReport any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. /li liEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. /li liMaintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. /li liSupport all co‑workers and treat them with dignity and respect. /li liSupport team to reach common goals. /li liComply with quality assurance expectations and standards. /li liEnter and locate work‑related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
